About the Role

Assist the senior nurse and other team members in planning patient care within Student Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient screening duties following established clinic policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assist with specialized examinations and treatments.
• Perform treatments and other patient care duties following department policy, established protocol, and standards of care, or as directed by a lead nurse.
• Document information reflecting patient’s condition and nursing care given.
• Complete assigned tasks using positive guest relations and communication.
• Assist in the preparation of materials and information as assigned.
• Perform standard assignments and responsibilities.
• Assist with basic/routine screenings, examinations, and assessments.
• Use existing procedures or direction to solve standard problems and/or correct standard, routine issues.
• Assist the senior staff nurse with administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved nursing program and licensure (or eligibility to be licensed) as an RN within the state of Missouri.

Pay

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $34.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
