This is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN.
• Follows HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management, and Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment and/or instruments.
• Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and medication administration. Assists with medical office procedures.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history, and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record.
• Triages calls, provides test and lab results to patients, and presents relevant information to the provider with correct medical terminology.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Trade School education in Nursing

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Day shift
• No call, no weekends, no holidays
