Staff Engineer

About the role

Fehr Graham is a fast-growing Midwest engineering environmental firm seeking a motivated Staff Engineer. The ideal candidate is eager to work on diverse projects including municipal and environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil, municipal, land development and/or environmental engineering services using prescribed methods.
• Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow standard office procedures through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
• Work with clients and firm project managers to deliver projects with the highest quality – on time and on budget.
• Collaborate with and learn from fellow staff engineers, project engineers, environmental scientists and project managers.
• Develop leadership skills that build autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar software.
• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.
