Staff Electrical Engineer

We are building zener, a code-first approach to PCB design, with integrated DFM and CAM capabilities. Our platform goes from design to manufacturing on the same platform, catering to the robotics, aerospace, and medical industries. Fortune 100 clients require our power electronics and HDI designs.

About the role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing circuit boards that meet the stringent requirements of our clients in the robotics, aerospace, and medical sectors. You will work closely with engineers to ensure that designs are manufacturable and adhere to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing high-quality circuit boards for power electronics and HDI applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensuring designs are manufacturable and adhere to industry standards
• Using AI agents to assist in the design process
• Conducting DFM and CAM analysis to optimize board designs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in PCB design and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with CAD software such as Altium Designer or Eagle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power electronics and HDI design principles
• Experience with AI-driven design tools
• Understanding of DFM and CAM processes
