We are currently accepting applications for a Staff Development RN within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude. Must enjoy working with our residents and families. We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama RN License
- Experience in long-term care nursing
- Staff Development experience is a plus, but training is available for RNs with long-term care experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Positive attitude toward the elderly
Responsibilities
- Direct in-service educational programs and new hire orientation following current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and as may be controlled by the Administrator.
- Ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.
- Provide nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance.
- Plan and implement orientation and mentoring programs for all nursing employees.
- Maintain the nurses' and CNA's schedules.
Monday through Friday with rotating call and work one weekend monthly.
