About the role
The RN Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all in-service education in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Train and educate nursing and other staff
- Maintain training records
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Evaluate training programs
- Support patient safety
- Demonstrate dependable attendance
- Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s)
- Active RN license
- CPR certification
- Prior experience in skilled nursing and teaching is preferred
