About the role
The Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (SDC/IP) at Stonebrook Rehab Center is responsible for implementing measures to protect residents and staff from infections. Responsibilities
- Assess and address education needs of staff
- Coordinate and implement infection prevention training programs
- Conduct education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audits
- Support new employee hiring processes
- Engage with staff to promote employee recognition and retention programs
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve shared goals
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or ability to obtain one
- CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training or equivalent advanced training in infection prevention and control
