Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Report to the Director of Nursing Services and Administrator.
- Lead, evaluate, and supervise resident care; initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and implement annual educational schedules, approved by the Administrator and DNS.
- Disseminate monthly educational program calendars promptly.
- Maintain records of classes, attendance, and performance.
- Ensure ongoing education for all staff and update education profiles.
- Submit education programs to DPH as required.
- Conduct orientation for new hires; collaborate on educational needs.
- Uphold customer service standards.
- Handle additional duties such as Quality Assurance.
Requirements
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
- Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in English (written/spoken); decision-making and leadership skills; strong interpersonal abilities; knowledgeable in nursing practices and regulations; ability to plan, develop, and interpret programs and policies; continuously engage in education and training.
Physical Requirements
- Capable of movement and handling stress.
- Effective interaction with all stakeholders.
