Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation cases for the company and insured clients
- Analyze cases and devise strategies for favorable outcomes
- Lead the discovery process and draft necessary legal documents
- Represent clients in various legal settings including trials and mediations
- Advocate for clients in both state and federal courts
- Keep abreast of legal trends for policy improvements
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of civil litigation experience
- Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, and conducting discovery
- Strong understanding of tort, contract, and insurance law
- Solid knowledge of Professional Responsibility rules
- Admitted to the Iowa State Bar; Nebraska admission preferred
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
