Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end commissions process to ensure accurate and timely commission payment calculations
- Design, administer, and optimize commissions system configurations and compensation plans
- Establish methods for validating commissionable deal data with the Deal Desk team
- Resolve complex commission discrepancies through data analysis and corrective measures
- Manage commission-related accounting activities, aligning with monthly close requirements
- Analyze commission account fluctuations and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation to enhance transparency in operations
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in commissions, sales compensation, or related finance roles, with a focus on complex calculations and process improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Deep understanding of sales compensation structures and commission plan administration
- Advanced experience with commission systems like CaptivateIQ or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles regarding commission expenses and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills for complex financial workflows and analytics
- Strong cross-functional communication skills to explain complex topics
