Staff Clinician I

About the role

Staff Clinician I utilizes therapeutic skills to assess the psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate these needs by providing individual, group, marital and/or family therapy. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provides educational seminars and in-service training that may be beneficial and/or required.

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling-related field
• CPI required within 60 days of employment
• CPR required within 30 days of employment
• Must be available to work flexible hours and days of the week including weekends and evenings
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting

Qualifications

• 2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred
