Responsibilities
- Provide support for: Airline Check-in Reservation LAN Systems, Airline Kiosks and Departure Gate Equipment, Gate Tower Hardware and Software
- Log, track, and resolve fault calls; escalate as needed
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on core equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues (including wireless handhelds and printers)
- Apply software patches and updates
- Manage warranty repairs, asset tracking, and consumables
- Maintain and support kiosk operations (e.g., paper jams, connectivity, calibration, peripheral troubleshooting)
- Cook up with L3/L4 support teams and site administrators
- Perform daily data backups and periodic maintenance on workstations, printers, and servers
- Monitor and replenish spare parts inventory
- Package and ship defective equipment for warranty repair
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a detailed 10-year background check
- Business casual attire required
- Parking provided
- Core desktop support fundamentals: DOS commands, Windows Control Panel settings, DNS configuration, TCP/IP settings
