Staff Assistant II, Airport Station

What you'll do

  • Handles incoming calls and correspondence, and refers to appropriate area or personnel
  • Creates and maintains filing systems
  • Makes travel arrangements when necessary
  • Receives visitors and assists with employee issues as well other personnel
  • Works with confidential and personal material
  • Performs other duties as required
  • All you'll need for success

    • Minimum Qualifications
      • Education & Prior Job Experience
        • A High School diploma or GED
        • 2 years previous office/clerical experience
      • Preferred Qualifications
        • Knowledge of AA invoice and payment systems
        • Knowledge of Workbrain Timekeeping system
        • Knowledge of SABRE/DECS/RES as well as QuickBuy Purchasing
    • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
      • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and corporate structure
      • Ability to prioritize work, be detail oriented and meet deadlines
      • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
      • Ability to be self-motivated with strong organizational skills
      • Ability to grasp concepts and functionality of specific software and programs
      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
      • Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
