About the role
This role sits at the intersection of product analytics, AI innovation, and large-scale observability platforms, supporting the development of next-generation AI-powered product experiences. You will play a key role in defining how success is measured across AI-driven workflows, ensuring that product decisions are grounded in reliable data, clear metrics, and rigorous experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, measurement, and optimization of product success metrics for AI-powered experiences while enabling data-driven decision-making across product teams.
- Define and evolve KPIs for AI-driven products, including adoption, engagement, retention, quality, and user outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design to establish measurement frameworks and product success criteria.
- Design, implement, and interpret experiments (including A/B testing) to evaluate AI feature performance and product impact.
- Improve product instrumentation and data quality to ensure reliable analytics for AI workflows and user behavior tracking.
- Build dbt models in collaboration with analytics engineering to transform and validate product data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to support product roadmap planning and executive decision-making.
- Influence product analytics standards and best practices across teams in a scaling, global organization.
- Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations that shape product strategy and roadmap direction.
- Influence long-term product analytics vision, balancing immediate needs with scalable data foundations.
Requirements
- Strong analytical expertise, deep technical skills in product analytics, and the ability to partner effectively across product and engineering teams in a highly technical environment.
- 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or product-focused analytics roles.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex, efficient queries for large-scale datasets.
- Experience defining and tracking success metrics for complex products, ideally including AI or data-intensive features.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Hex, or similar platforms.
- Experience building dbt models and working within modern data stacks.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Pendo, Heap, FullStory).
- Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and statistical evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical analysis into actionable business insights.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, modeling, or development workflows is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with observability concepts or ETL orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent experience).
