Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Generate financial statements and reports to support management decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial statements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Aid in the preparation of documentation for audits.
- Prepare and submit various financial reports to management and regulatory authorities.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, and/or 5+ years relevant experience.
- 2+ years previous experience as a staff accountant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.
