PRIMARY PURPOSE

To ensure accuracy of financial data; to maintain and analyze data; to prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries and general ledger (GL) account reconciliation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reconciles sub-ledgers to GL;
  • Prepares monthly journal entries and GL accounts.
  • Aids in month-end close and consolidation process, financial report and audit process.
  • Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as directed.
  • Maintains and analyzes balance sheet accounts and ensures they are accurately stated; conducts timely account reconciliations.
  • Performs client audits and reporting.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university or equivalent preferred. Accounting courses preferred.
  • Experience: Four (4) years accounting and/or financial analysis experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
