Pay
Base pay between $50,200 - $62,700/yr. The pay listed may vary based on experience, position work location, required travel (if any), and external market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cash transactions and bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency, exercising independent judgement in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Oversee store depository cash accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Oversee corporate cash accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Assist in leading month-end closing duties by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end close responsibilities.
- Provide comprehensive support for annual financial audits.
- Become a subject-matter expert of reconciliation tools and identify and implement automation enhancements to improve cash posting and reconciliation efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
- 1 – 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA with public accounting experience is preferred
- Retail experience (multi-unit/multi-state) preferred
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
