Pay

Base pay between $50,200 - $62,700/yr. The pay listed may vary based on experience, position work location, required travel (if any), and external market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cash transactions and bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency, exercising independent judgement in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee store depository cash accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Oversee corporate cash accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Assist in leading month-end closing duties by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end close responsibilities.
• Provide comprehensive support for annual financial audits.
• Become a subject-matter expert of reconciliation tools and identify and implement automation enhancements to improve cash posting and reconciliation efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
• 1 – 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA with public accounting experience is preferred
• Retail experience (multi-unit/multi-state) preferred
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
