Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a reputable and growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Absorb assistance with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances
• Absorb the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Support audit requests and provide necessary documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of staff account level experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus
