Responsibilities
- Gather and review financial information to verify balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, cash, inventory, and other accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare monthly summary statements with supporting documentation.
- Provide managers with financial data and explanations to help them understand departmental performance.
- Review, analyze, and adjust departmental financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist managers with interpreting financial statements and identifying relevant financial trends or variances.
- Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments to maintain an accurate general ledger and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with daily and month-end revenue journal entries.
- Prepare cash flow information reflecting daily banking activity and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- One or more years of relevant accounting or financial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience within a regulated industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity applications and experience using automated financial systems.
- Familiarity with applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

Pay
$55,000 - $65,000 per year
