Staff Accountant - Client Accounting Services

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team at LJB CPA. Our mission is to help our clients achieve their goals and make a positive impact through our services.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple clients
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Avoid preparing financial statements and customized client reports
• Avoid assisting clients with budgeting, cash flow analysis, and forecasting
• Avoid identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial processes and systems
• Avoid supporting CPA partners in tax prep, advisory services, and financial reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in client accounting services, bookkeeping, or public accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Detail-oriented with a client-first mindset
• Excellent communicator, able to translate complex financial info clearly
• Able to juggle multiple clients with grace and professionalism

Pay

$60,000 - $80,000 annually
