Staff Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our North American Finance team based in Overland Park, Kansas. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, managing accounts payable and receivable processes, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payments, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Aid in financial reporting, tax compliance activities, and audit requirements.
• Administer employee expense reporting through Concur.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and approved.
• Prepare financial analysis, management reporting, and ad hoc reporting to support business decisions.
• Support process improvement initiatives and help strengthen financial controls and efficiencies.

About You

• You will bring:
• - 3–5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
• - Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• - Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting activities.
• - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• - The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• - A high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
