Key Responsibilities
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring assigned areas are completed accurately and on time in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare and post journal entries across key areas including expenses, revenue, accruals, intercompany, and fixed assets
- Perform and maintain detailed account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely resolution of reconciling items
- Support general ledger integrity by validating financial data, investigating variances, and maintaining proper account classifications
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as assigned
- Assist with audit processes by preparing PBC documentation and responding to auditor requests
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company accounting policies and procedures
- Identify discrepancies or process gaps and proactively recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Support implementation of process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements within the accounting function
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and resolve transactional issues
- Cross-train to provide backup coverage across the accounting team to support broader finance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1+ years of industry accounting experience preferred; manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems required; Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred
- General Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
