Overview
This is a full-time, onsite role based at our headquarters in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting duties in AP, cash management, GL and other duties as assigned
- Aid with the monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Support annual audit, tax preparation for federal, state, and local tax returns
- Own the PO, AP, and 3-way match process ensuring bills are reconciled with PO’s and vendors are paid on a timely basis
- Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience: 1 - 3 years of accounting experience with direct exposure to accounting operation duties like AP, FA, GL and cash reconciliations
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with standard software solutions preferred, for example: QuickBooks Online, ERPs, Ramp, Carta
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to work with complex Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities
- Demonstrated organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Desired
- CPA (not required)
- Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience supporting high-growth or pre-IPO companies
