Staff Accountant

Essential Functions

• Contribute to the daily operations of the accounting department, performing tasks such as month-end close, cash management, reconciliations, cost accounting, consolidation, tax, and audit.
• Perform tasks related to month-end and year-end close, as well as income statement and balance sheet consolidation, including account reconciliations and general ledger analysis.
• Aid in Finance and IT department initiatives, such as software and system upgrades and implementations to enhance operational data and insights.
• Ensure that all entries are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Desirable Skills And Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Travel Requirements

• Periodic business travel estimated at approximately 5%
• Frequency of travel may fluctuate based on growth and acquisition initiatives

Work Environment

• Normal office environment
• May occasionally work in a manufacturing plant environment requiring personal protective equipment
• Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required
