About the role
Growing Atlanta-based organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account activity
- Support accruals, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Absorb audit requests and accounting process improvements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with an ERP system (NetSuite a plus)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Benefits
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 + potential discretionary bonus
