About the Role
This experienced staff accountant will play an integral role in accurately preparing the company's accounting records and performance. This role is someone on the verge of senior perhaps. The position reports to an Accounting Manager who will be an awesome mentor to help groom your experience with best practices.
Responsibilities
- Month-end activities, journal entries, GL & account reconciliation and analysis
- Assist with monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis
- Coordinate with regions to get their financial results and combine and consolidate
- Balance sheet reconciliation and reporting
- Bank reconciliation & daily bank updates
- Posting monthly accrual journal entries, fixed assets and depreciation
- Financial reporting, preparation of supporting schedules, and data analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related
- 4+ years of experience
- Fixed assets experience
Desired Skills
- Strong Accounting systems experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Compensation & Benefits
