About the role

Join our dynamic team of professionals in Baton Rouge, LA as a Staff Accountant. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our finance department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns
• Support month-end closing procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
