Key Responsibilities
- Process member billing, including dues, dining charges, events, and other club services
- Manage accounts receivable, including collections and resolving member account discrepancies
- Handle accounts payable, including vendor invoices, approvals, and payments
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Maintain accurate member accounts and ensure timely and correct postings
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports such as: Batch Reports, Cash Reports
- Reviews and processes invoices including updating the general ledger
- Reviews and processes expense reports
- Maintains record keeping, filing systems and processes daily mail
- Affords assistance with month end close, review and print reports
- Prepares accounts receivable statements
- Affords assistance in performing daily revenue audits for revenue generating departments
Qualifications
- 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Familiarity with member-based billing systems and POS integrations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GAAP principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with club management or hospitality software (e.g., Jonas Club Software)
Physical Demands
- Frequently sits, uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears
- Occasionally stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches
- Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds

- Noise level is moderate
