About the role
Tripps Triumph operates a digital platform for physical collectibles and an arcade-style mobile gaming business. The company's flagship app is among the top in the gaming category on the App Store, with significant user engagement and game play.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day accounts payable: invoice review, GL coding, payment runs, and vendor management in Ramp.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card transaction categorization and reconciliation, subject to Accounting Manager review.
- Review employee travel and expense (T&E) submissions for compliance with company expense policy.
- Prepare routine journal entries, including accruals and prepaid amortization.
- Support the month-end close by preparing schedules, tie-outs, and supporting documentation, and by pulling and organizing data for the team’s more complex reconciliations (payment-processor settlements, wallet and revenue waterfalls).
- Organize workpapers and prepared-by-client (PBC) items for our first external audit.
- Maintain organized, accurate accounting records and files.
- Respond to internal questions about expenses, invoices, and payments.
- Support the planned migration from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite through data entry, validation, and testing.
- Help identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- 0-2 years of accounting experience; strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Solid grasp of core accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fast learner who picks up new systems and processes with minimal hand-holding.
- Self-directed: able to run assigned processes with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Strong time management; consistently meets deadlines.
- Works well in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or other accounting software a plus.
- Experience with AP or expense-management platforms (e.g., Ramp) a plus.
- Interest in pursuing a CPA license a plus.
