Essential Functions
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions.
- Aid in the preparation of internal financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules.
- Process accounts payable.
- Support tax filing processes and regulatory reporting.
- Absorb and respond to auditor requests to prepare for annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and reporting efficiencies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve accounting-related issues and provide financial support.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Power Pivot, nested SUMIFS/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar is preferred.
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
