Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Manage subscription revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 (SaaS-specific)
• Prepare journal entries and complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain general ledger integrity, including account and invoice reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain audit-ready documentation and processes
• Assist with external audits and support regulatory reporting requirements
• Provide support for annual financial statement audits, ad hoc analyses, and revenue-related projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or technology
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and subscription management tools (e.g., Stripe, Chargebee)
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, specifically ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
