Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a GL Staff Accountant to play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, timely, and well-controlled financial close. This position is integral to the Accounting team's month-end process, prepares journal entries and reconciliations, and ensures the integrity of Rokt's consolidated financial statements under US GAAP. As a core contributor within a fast-growing, global technology company, this role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial records and the delivery of business insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close processes.
• Maintain SOX-ready documentation and support internal & external audit requests.
• Leverage NetSuite and integrated tools (e.g., FloQast, Zip, Ramp) to streamline GL and close processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting; partner with Finance Systems & Automation teams to implement solutions.
• Contribute to projects that improve the scalability, speed, and accuracy of the monthly close process and global accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience (public company, tech, or high-growth environment preferred).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
