Staff Accountant
About the role
Growing organization seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with 3–5+ years of experience in financial reporting, GL review, month-end close, and P& L analysis. Backgrounds in foodservice, retail, hospitality, or other operationally focused environments are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Financial reporting, GL review, month-end close, and P& L analysis
- Supporting budgets, forecasts, and client-facing financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas and organize large data sets effectively
- Experience supporting payroll processes or working with HR/payroll systems
- Preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with strong attention to detail
- Managing multiple priorities effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable hands-on experience in a related finance role
- Three to five years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger review, and account reconciliation
- Working knowledge of journal entries, operating statements, and month-end close processes
- Experience supporting payroll processes or working with HR/payroll systems
