Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join an organization in Waverly, Nebraska on a contract, onsite basis. This role ensures daily accounting activities run smoothly and accurately. The ideal candidate brings strong general accounting knowledge, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Receivable activities, including payment processing and account reconciliation.
• Manage and track prepaid expenses and related accounting entries.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end accounting processes and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist with various accounting projects and operational needs.
