Staff Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a company that is seeking a Staff Accountant who is eager to learn, take ownership, and grow their accounting career. The ideal candidate will gain exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, inventory analysis, process improvement projects, and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP, AR, invoicing, cash applications, and vendor payments
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Analyze inventory and general ledger activity
• Work directly with customers and vendors to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Lead special projects focused on process improvements and efficiencies
• Support financial reporting and help maintain accurate accounting records

Requirements

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A self-starter who is curious, motivated, and eager to learn
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus
