Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain the general ledger by reviewing account activity, researching discrepancies, and supporting month-end close efforts.
- Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve outstanding variances in a timely manner.
- Assist with operational audit activities by gathering documentation, validating records, and responding to information requests.
- Support revenue accounting tasks, including tracking entries, reviewing balances, and confirming proper recognition practices.
- Analyze financial data to identify inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve accuracy, maintain compliance, and support ongoing accounting priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree - Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel & Proficient ERP knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or a closely related finance role.
- Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and managing general ledger activity.
- Strong background in account reconciliation and investigating variances across financial records.
- Familiarity with operational audit support and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
- Experience working with revenue accounting processes and financial reporting requirements.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and standard month-end procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
