Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate income journal, credit management and billing processes for the hotel.
• Play an important role for establishing methods of payment for upcoming groups and events.
• Diligently follow up to secure payments post-departure, contributing to the seamless financial operations of our property.

Requirements

• A degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of financial statements and reports.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
