Staff Accountant
About the role
The Staff Accountant supports the finance and accounting team by performing a range of technical and operational accounting activities that ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical accounting activities in accordance with GAAP
- Maintain and update the capital asset register
- Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Develop and maintain account lead schedules
- Aid with internal and external audit processes
- Support tax and payroll functions
- Investigate account discrepancies and resolve variances
- Support cost accounting activities including product costing and variance analysis
- Aid in maintaining inventory controls and reconciling inventory balances
- Perform additional ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting

Salary Range
$70,000-$80,000 per year
