You will work closely with our accounting, operations and management teams, and get hands-on exposure to the financial side of a fast-growing business funding company. What You Will Do Handle day-to-day accounting and financial operationsMaintain accurate general ledger entries and account reconciliationsAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform bank and cash reconciliationsTrack incoming and outgoing paymentsAssist with daily cash-position reportingPrepare journal entries and supporting documentationAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesMaintain organized financial records and documentationResearch and resolve accounting discrepanciesAssist management with financial reports and analysisWork closely with operations to make sure transactions are recorded accuratelyHelp improve accounting processes, controls and reporting as the company grows What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferredStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesExperience with QuickBooks or similar accounting softwareStrong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong organizational and problem-solving abilityComfortable working to deadlines across multiple prioritiesAble to work independently while still being part of a teamProfessional, dependable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities Experience That Helps, But Is Not Required Experience in business finance, alternative finance, merchant cash advance, lending, banking or financial services is a major plus.
