Staff Accountant

Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team at Levco Management. This is a hands-on position responsible for corporate and property-level accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate investment and property management. They must also have experience with multi-entity accounting and private equity fund structures, as well as proficiency with Yardi (or similar multifamily accounting software).

• Work closely with the AP/AR team to process payables and receivables.
• Aid in the development of property and corporate entity budgets and variance reporting.
• Manage mortgage loan processes, including escrows, reserves, and funding draws.
• Calculate and perform accrual entries and adjusting journal entries as needed.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Compile and review financial statements; prepare reporting packages.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with exposure to real estate investment and property management fields.
• Additional experience with multi-entity accounting and private equity fund structures is preferred.
• Ability to work as a team, perform advanced accounting tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Excel and a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.
