Staff Accountant
Salary Range
$70,000 - $80,000Essential Functions
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing financial data and account information
- Completes month-end close duties including preparation of journal entries, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, reconciliation of multiple cash accounts
- Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
- Prepares revenue and expense variance reporting, analysis, and explanation
- Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigates discrepancies to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records
- Affords assistance with annual and quarterly forecasts and budgeting processes as needed
- Affords assistance with periodic and year-end audit requests
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary by management
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds is regularly required for filing and other record keeping duties
- Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer
- Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years Accounting experience required
- Intermediate software skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word including V, H Lookups, Pivot Tables, If Then Statements, Concatenate and Graphic capabilities
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to work well with others both within and without our department
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland L.P.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and abide by our Corporate Fleet Policy

The role will require signing both a non-compete and non-solicit agreement. The candidate will be eligible for a $500 Sign-On Bonus for each form they sign, totaling $1000. This Sign-On Bonus will be paid out on the first pay period following date of hire.
