Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger transactions
- Aid with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
- Maintain and track fixed assets
- Support the preparation of financial reports and internal reporting
- Absorb accounts payable and receivable activities as needed
- Maintain and reconcile subsidiary ledgers
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation
- Aid with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Engage in process improvements and other accounting projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level experience welcomed)
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Preferred: CPA candidacy or progress toward certification
- Experience working with ERP or accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)
