Staff Accountant
Responsibilities
- Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Affords assistance in preparing month end reporting package.
- Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts, including cash disbursements, bank transactions, fixed asset depreciation, payroll and bank reconciliations.
- Maintains oversight and reporting on monthly performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Affords assistance in annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting.
Qualifications
- 3 + years of experience in an Accounting related function.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.

This role reports into SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company located in Germantown, WI, and is an on-site/hybrid role at our facility in Germantown.
