Staff Accountant

About the role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a strong accounting foundation while gaining valuable experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Aid with month-end close activities
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
• Review and code invoices and expenses
• Aid with financial reporting and analysis
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams on special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0–2 years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include internship or entry-level accounting experience, desire to pursue CPA certification, experience with accounting software or ERP systems, and exposure to multi-entity accounting environments.
