Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from our owners, guests, clients and vendor.
• Audit all point of sale systems daily for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify allowances and miscellaneous postings/adjustments for proper authorization and coding.
• Investigate discrepancies and develop procedures to eliminate them.
• Print, verify accuracy and distribute daily revenue reports.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Communicate with outlets about questions or problems with regard to posting that have an effect on the creation of the sales journals.
• Record payments.
• Provide shared service and amenity backup and documentation to HOA.
• Issue owner statements.
• Respond to the owners inquiries in a timely manner.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow-up and resolve past due accounts.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of property management and point of sale systems.
