Responsibilities
- Aid in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries for petty cash, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other general ledger activity.
- Maintain assigned balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring book and bank balances match.
- Support Senior Accountant and Assistant Controller with account analyses, reconciliations, and special projects.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and GAAP.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on ERP experience, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas like Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF(S), IF statements.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across departments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment.
- Clear and effective communication in person, via phone, and video conferencing.
- Occasional movement and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
- Navigation of an office environment and attendance at in-person meetings as required.

Compensation & Perks
- Pay range of $27.50 - $35.50/hour, along with annual cost-of-living increases, end-of-year bonus opportunities, and generous employee discounts.
