Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Match purchase orders, receiving slips, and invoices, obtaining appropriate approvals for payment of invoices
• Enter all AP invoices into system
• Print checks, obtain required signatures, and distribute accordingly
• Generate ACH bulk payments and post activity to ERP system
• Manage sales tax on invoices for quarterly payment
• Responsible for various month-end journal entries and reconciliations
• Invoice, collect, and report on assigned customer accounts
• Provide support with Accounts Receivable
• Assist with Cost Accounting, month, quarter, and year-end closes
• Generate and analyze data

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in an accounting position
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Associate degree preferred
