Overview Of The Staff Accountant Role

• Aid with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed
• Afford financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Help support audits and tax-related documentation
• Work within ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate financial records

Preferred Qualifications For The Staff Accountant

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant accounting experience
