Key Responsibilities

• Manage federal grant accounting processes, including contract review, reconciliations, journal entries, purchase orders, budget transfers, and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with financial aid and grant teams to ensure expenditures and reporting follow federal and regulatory requirements
• Oversee capital asset accounting, including construction-related tracking, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Review and approve financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support audits, reporting requirements, and cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 2–4 years of grant or government accounting experience; higher education experience strongly preferred
• Experience with capital asset accounting and ERP systems such as PeopleSoft
• Prior supervisory experience overseeing multiple staff members required

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 | Location: Sanford, FL | Fully Onsite
