Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will step into a newly created, hands-on role driven by company growth and increasing operational needs. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions, including inventory management and job costing, while working closely with leadership and operational teams in a dynamic environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Aid with job costing and project-based accounting activities
• Support inventory processes, including tracking, reconciliation, and periodic counts
• Parel with operations and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial data flow
• Identify process gaps and contribute to improvements across accounting workflows
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and ad hoc analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong foundation in GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Exposure to construction, manufacturing, or inventory accounting preferred
• Experience with job costing or project-based accounting is a plus
• Hands-on, adaptable approach with willingness to engage in operational environments
